Resistance Calibrator

The 5450A Resistance Calibrator is designed to verify the resistance-measuring accuracy of precision multimeters, either manually or as part of an automated calibration system. The 5450A provides cardinal point resistance values in decade steps from 1.0 Ω through 100 MΩ and decade steps from 1.9 Ω through 19 MΩ. Because full range reading of most digital multimeters start with the digits 19, the accuracy of readings near the full range may be checked using the 19-series resistors.
